Core Responsibilities
Install, diagnose, repair, and maintain Haas CNC machine tools and controls at customer sites.
Leverage online technical documentation, manuals, and vendor support to resolve issues efficiently.
Complete precise service documentation for customers and internal teams.
Deliver after-sales support, training, and preventative maintenance programs.
Maintain current knowledge of machine tool technologies and HFO Chicago’s product portfolio.
Perform related tasks as needed to support customers and team goals.
Qualifications
Demonstrated mechanical/electrical repair or engineering experience (CNC repair background preferred).
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings (required).
Proficiency with laptops, smartphones, and software; Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
Outstanding technical communication and presentation capability.
Physically able to lift 40–50 lbs on a regular basis.
Flexible schedule with frequent regional travel and driving to customer facilities.
