Core Responsibilities

• Dimensional and visual inspection of machined components, castings, and forgings
• Extract and verify characteristics from engineering drawings using GD&T
• Utilize height gauges, calipers, micrometers, drop gauges, and optical tools to validate features
• Flex across in-process, receiving, and other inspection areas based on workload

Required Experience & Skills

• 3–5+ years as an inspector in an aerospace or defense machine shop
• Strong blueprint reading with proven GD&T application
• Hands-on mastery of common metrology hand tools; CMM exposure is beneficial but not required
• Working knowledge of AS9100 quality standards and documentation
• Availability to work required Saturdays

Preferred/Proficiency Areas

• GD&T
• AS9100 Quality Systems
• AS9102 familiarity
• AS9100 experience in production settings
