Kable Workforce Solutions is adding a skilled machining professional to our team in Lebanon, OH. If you enjoy turning blueprints into flawless parts and take pride in holding tight tolerances, this role puts you at the center of production.
A day in the life
You start your shift by reviewing blueprints and job routers, planning setups to meet scheduled hours. You’ll select and secure fixtures, cutting tools, and material; set speeds, feeds, and coolant; and run both manual and CNC equipment. Throughout the day, you’ll inspect tools for sharpness, monitor operations for accuracy, and fine-tune programs for optimal throughput and finish. You keep your area clean and safe, help teammates as needed, and close the day with machines ready for the next run.
What you’ll do
Process parts per blueprints and written/verbal specifications while meeting scheduled router hours.
Set up, adjust, and operate machine tools to achieve close/exact tolerances across varying dimensions and finishes.
Select, align, and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials.
Inspect and maintain cutting tools for sharpness and usability.
Calculate and set machine controls/programming for speed, feed, and coolant flow.
Start and observe operations, detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions, and make corrective adjustments.
Clean and maintain tooling and parts to keep equipment in peak condition.
Edit and maintain programs to fine tune processes for optimal performance.
Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
Perform other duties as needed.

High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training preferred.
Capability to set up and operate manual machine equipment.
Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane; read measuring instruments; and maintain machining equipment.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally; over 50 lbs requires two people or a lifting device.
