Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop Engineering, Estimating, and Quality teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical leadership for CNC machining processes, tooling, fixturing, manufacturing optimization, and production support.
  • Oversee the quoting and estimating process, ensuring accurate cost analysis and competitive pricing.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cycle time reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Sales to support new business opportunities and manufacturing strategy.
  • Oversee quality management systems, root cause investigations, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support new product introductions, manufacturing process development, and customer technical reviews.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, departmental budgets, and resource planning while contributing to long-term business strategy.

Profile

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent manufacturing experience).
  • 7+ years of engineering leadership within CNC machining, precision manufacturing, or a related environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, fixturing, GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience leading engineering, quality, estimating, or other technical teams.
  • Background in quoting, cost estimating, manufacturing planning, and customer-facing engineering support.
  • Experience within precision manufacturing environments serving regulated industries is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ERP/MRP systems, CAD/CAM software, and ISO quality systems is a plus.
