Location & Schedule

Ivyland, PA — Milton Roy, 201 Ivyland Rd., Warminster, PA 18974

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

A Day in This Role

You start your day reviewing the work order and bill of materials, scanning blueprints and technical drawings to plan your build sequence. With your station set to 5S standards, PPE on, and tools checked, you assemble mechanical components with care—tightening fasteners, aligning parts, bending tubing, and soldering where needed. When larger subassemblies are ready, you coordinate with a teammate to use cranes or hoists safely.

As the line moves, you track parts usage, request replenishments, and keep a close eye on inventory so nothing slows production. Each completed unit is inspected and tested against ISO-driven procedures; you document results, troubleshoot any issues, and ensure test pressures never exceed 30,000 PSI. Throughout the day you collaborate to meet team quotas, communicate clearly with your supervisor, and keep the workspace organized. You’ll also attend monthly EHS training and uphold company policies—arriving on time for start, lunch, and breaks.

What You’ll Do

  • Build assemblies from detailed instructions, current processes, and up-to-date specifications.
  • Interpret bills of material, work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Use hand, pneumatic, and powered tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, presses); perform specialty tasks like tube bending and soldering; operate cranes/hoists when required.
  • Hit daily/weekly output goals by collaborating with teammates to optimize workflow.
  • Monitor component levels; request and track materials to avoid shortages.
  • Conduct quality checks to ISO requirements; identify defects; make adjustments or repairs; test and troubleshoot assemblies.
  • Participate in training to strengthen maintenance skills and product knowledge; complete monthly EHS training.
  • Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements; maintain 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain); adhere to a 30,000 PSI maximum test limit.
  • Lift up to 35 lbs individually and coordinate team lifts up to 70 lbs; maintain a clean, organized area.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience in mechanical assembly or other fast-paced environments

Core Physical & Job Competencies

  • Lifting: up to 35 pounds occasionally; use a hoist for items over 40 pounds.
  • Standing: up to three hours continuously.
  • Stooping: to lift items from pallets as needed.
  • Hand dexterity: comfortable with hand tools, screws, gauges, and control interfaces.
  • Verbal communication: clear, reliable interaction with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Carrying: up to 40 pounds for distances to 25 feet.

Preferred Qualifications

  • General computer literacy (SSO logins), JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Process-oriented mindset with a systematic approach to work.
  • Experience with hand, pneumatic, and power tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, presses).
  • Ability to read BOMs, work instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings.
