A Day in This Role
Picture this: you arrive at our Otsego, MI facility for your evening or overnight shift, review the work orders, and begin building components exactly to spec. You double-check fit and finish, verify measurements, and keep your station spotless so everything runs smoothly and safely. Throughout the shift, you coordinate with teammates to hit production targets and timelines, and you flag any equipment issues or safety concerns immediately to your supervisor.
What You’ll Do
- Build sub-assemblies and finished products to drawings, instructions, and quality requirements.
- Perform in-process inspections to confirm work meets company standards.
- Maintain an orderly, clean workstation to support safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with peers to meet output goals and daily deadlines.
- Report equipment malfunctions and any safety issues promptly.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines every step of the way.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Assembly or manufacturing background is helpful but not required.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset.
- Team player who communicates well and supports group goals.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.
