A day in the life — Elgin, IL
You arrive, review the day’s run list, and study the blueprints that define critical tolerances. You set up and dial in the metalworking equipment, feed heavy stock safely, and begin a steady cadence of producing precision parts. Throughout the shift, you tune machine parameters, listen for anomalies, and troubleshoot issues before they slow production. You collaborate with teammates to refine processes, then wrap up by documenting output, quality checks, and performance data so the next run starts strong.
