What You'll Tackle
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan each build.
- Execute welding and fitting using appropriate techniques (including flux-cored arc) to meet project targets.
- Assemble metal components and full structures to spec.
- Inspect and test welds to verify strength, accuracy, and safety compliance.
- Perform routine maintenance to keep equipment in top shape.
- Collaborate with teammates to maintain pace and meet deadlines.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized workstation.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade/vocational training is a plus.
- Proven background as a welder/fitter or similar occupation.
- Solid knowledge of welding materials and processes.
- Ability to read and apply technical documents and blueprints.
- Detail-oriented with practical problem-solving skills.
- Clear communicator and cooperative team contributor.
- Welding certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME) preferred but not mandatory.
