What You'll Do
- Use TIG and MIG to produce high-spec parts across stainless, carbon steel, Monel, and Hastelloy
- Weld confidently in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
- Translate blueprints, welding symbols, and process specs into consistent results
- Set up fixtures and verify measurements to ensure precise fit-up
- Control heat and sequence to prevent distortion, overheating, and defects
- Inspect and document weld quality against exact specifications
- Follow safety, quality, and production standards while maintaining a 5S work area
How You'll Be Evaluated
Interview includes a practical weld test. We assign a Level I–III rating to determine your starting pay and map out progression. Level I minimum is required to join.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on TIG and MIG welding
- Comfort reading blueprints and welding symbols
- Experience welding in multiple positions (flat, vertical, overhead)
- Strong knowledge of welding equipment and setup
- Ability to pass our on-site welding test (Level I minimum required)
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a manufacturing/shop environment
Nice-to-Haves
- Pressure vessels, valves, or other regulated component experience
- Background with exotic alloys such as Monel or Hastelloy
- Familiarity with ISO or similar quality systems
- Rotary table or precision welding setup experience
- AWS certification or comparable training
