Ready to turn measurements into confidence?

Do you enjoy proving parts are right—not just hoping they are? Are CMM programs, GD&T, and calibration second nature? If you’re eager to work alongside production, engineering, and suppliers to ensure every component meets customer, company (RGC), and industry specifications, this role is for you.

Why you’ll love it

  • Impact from day one: own first-piece, in-process, and final verification so good parts move forward fast.
  • Variety: split your time between incoming material checks, outgoing shipment validation, and shop-floor support.
  • Tools that tell the truth: program and operate manual/CNC CMMs (PC-DMIS / Modus preferred) and leverage Hofler gear inspection plus classic gauges.
  • Voice in improvement: identify nonconformances, assist corrective actions, and guide operators on best measurement practices.

Your impact

  • Translate blueprints, customer requirements, and control plans into actionable inspections.
  • Execute and sustain the calibration system to keep every gauge trustworthy.
  • Support PPAP/ISIR packages, capability studies, and first-article builds.
  • Maintain organized quality records and customer documentation.
  • Participate in internal audits and collaborate in supplier quality initiatives.

What you bring

  • 2–4 years in manufacturing or quality assurance, ideally in precision machining.
  • Ability to interpret prints using GD&T and apply precise measurement techniques.
  • Required: hands-on calibration experience.
  • Comfort with SPC and basic math/geometry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Nice to have: experience with bevel gear manufacturing.

Tech you’ll use

  • Coordinate Measuring Machines (Mitutoyo, Hexagon)
  • PC-DMIS (and Modus exposure a plus)
  • Micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, dial indicators, tooth verniers
  • Measurement gauges and a Hofler gear inspection machine

Work environment

On the production floor within a CNC machining environment—where precision meets pace.

Pay, growth, and benefits

  • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience
  • Growth opportunities inside a quality-first manufacturing organization
  • Health insurance
  • Dental and Vision
  • 401(k)
  • Paid time off and Holidays

Strengths that set you apart

  • Quality inspection and quality control experience
