Precision Saw Systems Assembler

Picture your day beginning with a build ticket in hand. You verify each component, set your tools, and transform a cart of parts into a precision cutting machine ready for the jobsite. In this role, you bring together mechanical parts and electrical elements to assemble concrete, tile, masonry, metal, and hole saw equipment, along with related production-built tools such as trowels.

A day in the life

Start by reviewing pre-assigned work orders and parts. Confirm everything is correct and in proper condition, flagging any issues to your Supervisor. Then move into assembly—pre-building subassemblies and integrating them into the final machine. Your hands-on work includes:

• Pre-assembling and wiring engines, motors, and switchboxes
• Building engine modules, water pumps, blade shafts and guards, front and rear axles, transmissions, and cutting heads
• Using hand and pneumatic tools for sanding, oiling, measuring, bolting, wiring, aligning, tightening, and torqueing
• Reading blueprints and following documented procedures and work instructions
• Finishing details: touch-up work, serial-number decal application, and occasional painting

Quality and finish

• Run functional tests to confirm proper operation
• Complete inspection checklists and alert your Supervisor when the unit is ready for final inspection
• Crate or box units, include required literature and tools, and stage for pickup
• Keep tools and the work area clean; report tool repair needs promptly
• Hold a high bar for fit, finish, and performance
• Recommend improvements to procedures and specifications
• Follow safe work practices and report safety or ergonomic concerns

What you bring

• 1–2 years of mechanical assembly experience
• Automotive or shop background is a plus
• Comfort following verbal and written instructions
• Stamina to stand for extended periods
• Ability to operate pneumatic tools that vibrate for short durations
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on tool knowledge
• Willingness to learn specialized processes, including electrical wiring
• Detail-focused, accurate, and instruction-driven work style
