At Anchor Fabrication in LaVergne, Tn, you’ll be the go-to expert who turns drawings and ideas into production-ready tooling. On our 2nd shift (2:30 pm–11:00 pm, Monday–Friday, with weekend overtime as needed), you’ll keep our operations moving by building, repairing, and improving the dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and cutting tools our teams rely on every day.
You’ll start by reviewing blueprints, sketches, models, or written descriptions, visualizing the end product to decide materials, machining strategies, and sequences. You’ll lay out metal stock, calculate dimensions, plan the assembly approach, and then move to the machines—lathes, mills, shapers, and grinders—to produce precision parts. Throughout the build, you’ll verify conformance to drawings and specifications, check dimensions, alignments, and clearances, and assemble, fit, and prove out the tooling. Along the way, you’ll collaborate with Engineering to troubleshoot process machinery and tool dies, as well as maintain specialized machines and hand tools that support production requirements.
2nd shift, 2:30 pm–11:00 pm, Monday–Friday; overtime opportunities on weekends.
