    Description

    Responsible for the initial stages of construction projects, overseeing the planning, estimation, and budgeting processes. Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate project proposals that meet client expectations and budgetary constraints.


    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate with the project team to develop project scope, objectives, and strategies during the preconstruction phase.
    • Conduct thorough site evaluations and analysis to identify potential challenges, risks, and opportunities.
    • Prepare accurate cost estimates, material quantities, and timelines for project proposals.
    • Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and ensure cost-effectiveness.
    • Utilize industry-standard software for estimating, scheduling, and project management.
    • Present preconstruction proposals and recommendations to clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
    • Continuously monitor and update project budgets, schedules, and specifications throughout the preconstruction phase.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
    • Proven experience in construction estimating, preferably in industrial or commercial projects.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Technical knowledge of building construction trades.
