Preconstruction Manager

Position Overview:
The Preconstruction Manager will oversee and drive all aspects of the preconstruction phase, including:

• Estimating (conceptual and detailed)
• Scheduling and constructability reviews
• Value management and BIM integration
• Subcontractor and supplier procurement
• Collaboration with project stakeholders, including Owners, Architects, Engineers, Consultants, and Suppliers

Additionally, the role involves:

• Developing and maintaining subcontractor relationships
• Engaging with regional industry organizations
• Staying informed on regional and national commodity markets
• Assisting in the pursuit of new project opportunities

Leadership Responsibilities:

• Coordinate preconstruction resources in collaboration with key managers (e.g., Chief Estimator, Regional Managers)
• Provide clear directives and leadership to team members assigned to preconstruction efforts
• Ensure alignment with the organization’s goals and project objectives

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in preconstruction management within the commercial construction sector
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Expertise in estimating, scheduling, and constructability analysis
• A track record of building and maintaining positive relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
