Job Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for construction projects.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to define project scope and requirements.
- Analyze project documents to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Lead preconstruction meetings and ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Manage subcontractor and supplier bid processes, including reviewing and negotiating proposals.
- Provide value engineering solutions to optimize project costs and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation throughout the preconstruction phase.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Preconstruction Manager should have:
- Strong background in construction and preconstruction processes within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in preparing cost estimates, project schedules, and budgets.

- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Birmingham, AL.
