We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Preconstruction Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading construction company, where you will play a crucial role in the preconstruction phase of our projects. As a Preconstruction Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the preconstruction activities of various construction projects, ensuring that all project requirements are met within the stipulated budget and timeline. This position requires a high level of expertise in areas such as budgeting, project estimation, procurement, project planning, construction management, change orders, subcontracting, and the use of specific software such as winEST and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preconstruction phase of construction projects, ensuring all project requirements are met within the stipulated budget and timeline.
  • Conduct detailed project estimation and budgeting to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial feasibility.
  • Oversee procurement processes, ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are procured in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage construction activities, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality standards.
  • Handle change orders, ensuring that all changes are properly documented, approved, and implemented.
  • Oversee subcontracting processes, ensuring that all subcontractors are effectively managed and coordinated.
  • Utilize specific software such as winEST and Bluebeam for project management and documentation.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and clients, maintaining strong professional relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction management, preferably in the industrial or warehouse construction sector.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, project estimation, procurement, project planning, and construction management.
  • Proficiency in handling change orders and managing subcontractors.
  • Familiarity with specific software such as winEST and Bluebeam.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
