Job Description- Lead all preconstruction efforts for big box and large-scale retail projects
- Manage and mentor a team of estimators and preconstruction staff
- Prepare conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, and cost analyses
- Develop bid strategies for competitive and accurate proposal submissions
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and scope documents to ensure complete coverage
- Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier bids
- Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize cost and constructability
- Collaborate closely with business development, operations, and executive leadership
- Maintain relationships with key subcontractors, vendors, and clients

The Successful Applicant- 8-15+ years of experience in commercial estimating or preconstruction
- Strong experience with big box retail or large-scale commercial projects highly preferred
- Proven leadership experience managing preconstruction or estimating teams
- Expertise in conceptual estimating, budgeting, and cost control
- Strong knowledge of national subcontractor markets and pricing trends
- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, OST, Procore, and Excel)
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
