    Description

    Sr. Preconstruction Manager / Sr. Estimator, Manufacturing Center

    The Sr. Preconstruction Manager / Sr. Estimator will lead the preconstruction phase for manufacturing projects, with a focus on the chemical, semiconductor, and food and beverage sectors. This role is essential for ensuring cost-effective project planning and execution while collaborating closely with various stakeholders to guarantee project success.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead preconstruction activities including scope identification and project planning.
    • Develop and manage estimates using Autodesk and Sage software.
    • Perform detailed takeoffs and quantity surveys for cost management.
    • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure project feasibility and alignment with client expectations.
    • Monitor project schedules, ensuring timely completion of preconstruction deliverables.
    • Provide insights on automation and self-perform strategies to optimize project costs.
    • Engage with stakeholders such as Intel and Boeing to align on project specifications and requirements.
    • Conduct risk assessments and provide mitigation strategies during the preconstruction phase.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in preconstruction and estimating within the manufacturing sector.
    • Proficient in Autodesk, Sage, and takeoff processes.
    • Strong understanding of cost management practices and methodologies.
    • Experience with MEP systems, scheduling, and planning for large-scale projects.
    • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations in chemical and semiconductor industries.
    • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
