Predictive Toxicologist

Essential Responsibilities

·Organizing and providing oversight to internal and external meetings including project meetings, forums/workshops, and conferences

·Develop, write, and edit scientific and technical documents, including workshop reports and scientific manuscripts for publication

·Identification, collection and organization of all available information on alternative toxicological assays including literature and internet searches of public access databases

·Evaluation of statistical data

·Presenting information in public forums

·Providing support to commercial safety assessment projects

Additional Responsibilities

·Technical writing and editing

·Work in a team environment with a professional and positive attitude

·Other duties as needed

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

Education:

1.B.S. in a related scientific field (preferably toxicology)

2.M.S. in a related scientific field (preferably toxicology)

Experience:

1.4+ years in scientific writing and editing (preferably toxicology)

2.1+ years in scientific writing and editing (preferably toxicology)

Skills:

oExcellent organizational skills.

oStrong, proven technical writing and editing skills.

oAbility to exercise independent judgment

oFunction well independently or in a team environment.

oExcellent communication skills.

oComputer skills with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint

oAptitude or willingness to learn basic coding (such as R or Python) for data organization and pipeline automation
