# Title: Prefab Truck Driver

## Description Position Summary Prefabrication refers to the process of building and assembling a structure at a manufacturing site and transporting it to a remote site where it is then used.

The Driver will be responsible for:

• Picking up goods and materials
• Verifying loads for accuracy
• Delivering them as instructed
• Loading and unloading cargo
• Completing and verifying paperwork for accuracy

The driver is responsible for basic vehicle maintenance and must comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.

## Position Responsibilities

• Ability to drive long distances
• Follow all applicable traffic laws
• Secure cargo for transport using ropes, blocks, chains, or covers
• Transport packages to and from destinations
• Arrive at destinations on schedule
• Fulfill administrative needs like office pickups
• Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route
• Some overnight travel is required (1-3 nights per week)

## Position Requirements Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must have a valid CDL license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
