Position Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Pre-K Teacher who has a heart for children and a love for early childhood education. The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and structured classroom while incorporating faith-based values into daily learning.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans
- Create a structured, nurturing, and positive classroom environment
- Support children’s academic, social, and emotional development
- Incorporate faith-based principles and positive character building into daily activities
- Maintain consistent classroom routines and expectations
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children
- Work collaboratively with staff and administration
- Keep the classroom clean, organized, and prepared
- Complete required assessments and documentation
Qualifications:
- Experience working with preschool or Pre-K children (required)
- CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for working with children in a faith-based setting
- Ability to meet state licensing requirements
