The Assistant Auxiliary Programs Manager serves as the primary operational partner and second-in-command to the Director of Auxiliary Services. This role supports the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of all auxiliary programs across the academic year and summer, including After School Adventures (ASA), Summer Programs, workshops, enrichment, and internal auxiliary programs. This position is operations- and systems-focused, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and a high-quality experience for families, staff, and partners. The role is intentionally designed to emphasize leadership, logistics, and administration rather than daily student supervision.
This is a 12-month position. During the academic year, hours would be approximately 9:30am - 6:00pm (with flexibility for events and program needs). During the summer, hours would be approximately Mondays from 7:30am - 4:15pm and Tuesday through Friday from 7:45am - 4:30pm (with some flexibility).
Primary Responsibilities Auxiliary Operations & Leadership • Serve as operational lead and acting director in the absence of the Director of Auxiliary Services. • Support planning, launch, and continuous improvement of all auxiliary programs. • Manage CampBrain and related systems, including registration setup, billing, reporting, data integrity, and troubleshooting for summer and ASA, in addition to other programs we may add in future years. • Oversee auxiliary calendars, rosters, staffing plans, and campus space usage. • Serve in lead role for ASA programming partnering with lower school leadership on all staffing and behavioral work within the program. • Work with HR, if applicable, to help support employee onboarding, training, etc. • Help with tracking budgets, expenses, supplies, and operational efficiencies.
Communications & Marketing • Oversee family-facing communications and customer service workflows for all auxiliary programs, especially focused on summer camps. • Partner with communications office on efforts including flyers, Instagram posts, forms, emails, signage, maps, and operational guides. • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all auxiliary programs. • Help with website content design and improvements and key word research and materials.
Qualifications & Skills • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Experience in school, camp, or youth program operations. • Comfort managing systems, vendors, staffing logistics, and cross-department workflows. • Calm, professional, and solutions-oriented leadership style.

The St. Paul's Schools has a compensation scale based on direct years of experience and degree held. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's years of experience, education, and skills. For this opportunity, our salary range is $45,800 to $55,000 annually. Candidates with additional experience or qualifications may be offered a salary outside of the range shown.
