We seek an experienced and enthusiastic PreK/Transitional Kindergarten Teacher (48 months - 6 years) to implement a program that promotes each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, per the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach to teaching and learning. We are hiring for the 2026-2027 school year!Our ideal candidate is Director-Qualified, per DCFS 407, and would like to serve in a hybrid teaching/leadership role. It's a great opportunity to serve your staff while also continuing to experience the joy of teaching in a classroom. All lesson plans, supplies, and resources are provided. An excellent Primrose curriculum is provided to teachers, allowing you to reclaim your nights and weekends!

Our ideal candidate has the following:
- A strong commitment to building positive relationships with staff, families, and the community.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Candidates would be DQ with these degree options.
- Previous teaching in a licensed early childhood or PreK/Kindergarten program required.
- A passion for early childhood education and a vision of excellence.
Responsibilities of this role:
- Responsibility for the overall supervision and daily class functions of the classroom;
- Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and programming.
- Track children’s progress and report to parents with our pediatric-endorsed assessment;
- Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and confidently make decisions consistent with health and safety standards.
