We are seeking a Preschool Special Needs Teacher for the Pre-K/Headstart/Early Childhood program at a local elementary school, available starting 06/01/2026.
Candidates must hold a valid WV Preschool Special Needs Teaching Certificate or be eligible for a permit/out-of-field authorization.
Qualifications include experience with special needs children, IEP development, early childhood programs, and parental involvement. Preferred skills are training in Learning Beyond Paper Curriculum, knowledge of ECPBIS, and familiarity with WV State Board Policy 2525.
The teacher will plan and implement preschool activities for 4-year-olds, participate in staff development, conduct home visits, and collaborate with Headstart while adhering to program requirements.
