What You'll Do
As a Registered Nurse – Preop/PACU at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:
- Assess and monitor preoperative patients, obtain vital signs, review medical history, and ensure informed consent is complete
- Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia, manage pain, and address any complications to ensure safe and comfortable recovery
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner within the EMR
- Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other staff to coordinate patient care and ensure a seamless surgical experience
- Recognize and act on changes in patient condition, using independent clinical judgment and facility protocols to guide decisions

What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in Georgia or compact state
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- 2 years of RN experience in Preop and/or PACU preferred
