Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Prep Cook (AM) to join our culinary team. This is a full-time position with consistent hours and the opportunity to work in a high-volume, professional kitchen. The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, and comfortable working mornings with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and portion ingredients according to kitchen prep lists and recipes
Ensure prep areas are fully stocked and organized for daily service
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary workstation
Assist with food production as needed during service periods
Properly label, date, and store food in compliance with health codes
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Communicate and coordinate with kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
Previous prep cook or kitchen experience
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong time management and organizational skills
Must be reliable and available for early morning shifts and weekends
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
