We are seeking a dependable, detail oriented Prep Cook who takes pride in their craft and value being part of a professional kitchen team.

As a Prep Cook, you are foundational to the success of daily service. Your preparation, organization, and attention to detail directly support our chefs and ensure every dish meets our standards. This position is ideal for someone who works efficiently, stays organized, and understands the importance of food safety and consistency.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients according to established recipes and chef direction, including chopping, portioning, mixing, labeling, and proper storage
  • Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized prep stations
  • Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
  • Ensure all food preparation complies with safety and sanitation standards
  • Support line cooks and culinary leadership during service as needed
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas
  • Communicate proactively regarding inventory or product concerns

Requirements

  • Previous prep cook or kitchen experience preferred in a high volume or professional culinary environment
  • Strong understanding of basic knife skills and food preparation technique
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow recipes and written instructions with accuracy and consistenc
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining quality standards
  • Professional communication and team oriented mindset
  • Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
