About the Position

Olsten Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Prep/Catering Cook in Florence, SC!

We're looking for someone with 3-5 years of verifiable prep and/or catering cooking experience who can work independently after training and is ready to be a dependable, hands-on team player.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced kitchen professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment and understands that working in a small operation means being willing to pitch in wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare food for catering events and daily kitchen operations

• Assist with line cooking and other kitchen duties as needed

• Wash dishes and maintain a clean, organized kitchen

• ️ Take out trash and assist with general cleaning

• Support coworkers in various kitchen and operational roles

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures

• Help ensure catering orders and daily operations run smoothly

Schedule

• Open to the Public: Tuesday-Saturday

• ️ Catering Operations: Monday-Saturday

• Occasional Sunday shifts may be required for catering events

• ⏰ Schedule may vary based on business and catering needs

⭐ What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of prep and/or catering cook experience

• ✅ Verifiable kitchen experience

• ⏰ Reliable and dependable attendance

• Ability to work independently after training

• Positive attitude and team-first mindset

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

• Willingness to assist with dishes, cleaning, trash, food prep, and other kitchen tasks

• Flexibility and willingness to help wherever needed

Pay Details: $14.00 to $18.00 per hour
