ROADHOUSE CINEMAS OFFERS FREE MOVIES, SODA AND POPCORN!The Position: Prep CookThe Prep Cook plays a critical role in contributing to the quality of food plated in the RoadHouse kitchen. The Prep Cook performs kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients to prepare for proper execution of recipes. The Prep Cook is a positive team player.Prep Cook duties include, but are not limited to:Completing prep formsLabeling and stocking all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible. Follow FIFO (First in first out) procedures.Measuring ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking and baking.Preparing cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.Undertaking basic cooking and baking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food, etc.Maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, etc.Ensuring all food and other items are stored properly.Complying with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.Assisting the rest of the kitchen as needed.Responsible for thaw-pulls.Ensuring quality of ingredients used for prepping.Maintaining products in walk-ins and freezer.Performing other duties as assigned.Must have the following qualifications:Ability to work and familiar with a Brigade style line Familiar with cooking techniques and proceduresMust obtain Title 4 certification and Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hireMust be 18 years of age or olderMust be able to work weekends, nights and holidaysBenefits and Perks:This position offers competitive compensation, and benefits after meeting eligibility requirements.
