Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our kitchen team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing high-quality food service to our customers. Promptness and a sense of urgency is a must. Bring no drama.
Duties
- Assist in building and packaging breakfast tacos, breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, and wraps, ensuring that all Items are prepared according to established recipes and standards
- Prepare meats, cheese and vegetables by washing, cutting, chopping, and slicing various produce using slicer, knife, or other kitchen tools
- Operate the stove, griddle, and oven for various menu items
- Cook ingredients, as appropriate. This may include, yet not be limited to: bacon, sausage, saut ed vegetables, eggs, etc
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while adhering to all safety protocols
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels
- Assist in keeping cold storage and dry storage areas neat and organized
Cleaning and Sanitation Duties:
- Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, cooking equipment, and workstation surfaces
- Follow all food health and safety requirements
- Sweep, mop and disinfect floors daily
- Properly dispose of waste and take out trash daily
Requirements
- Previous experience in constructing sandwiches, salads and wraps preparation is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen skills and food safety practices are highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
