The Prep Cook plays a crucial role in supporting kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, assembling recipes, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. This part-time, nonexempt position reports to the Culinary Manager and involves tasks such as chopping ingredients, assembling fillings and sauces, labeling and storing items, and assisting with station setup and cleanup. The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow recipes, basic knife skills, and adherence to food safety protocols. Prior kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory. The Prep Cook must work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with the team, and be physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
