Pay & Benefits:

About You:

Duties & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Prepares mise-en-place for kitchen workstations.

  • May work kitchen Garde manger station.

  • Maintains accurate prep lists.

  • Inspects and tastes all of ingredients for quality control.

  • Presents excellent food for service.

  • Coordinates pick-ups and plating with other cooks and Chefs.

  • Communicates with Chefs and other cooks before, during and after service.

  • Cleans and sanitizes work area and maintains designated cooler space.

  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding and experience in restaurant hospitality and fine dining.

  • 1-2+ years professional kitchen experience.

  • Willingness to learn and retain knowledge.

  • Good time management and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines.

  • Understanding of NYC health department codes.
