 THE POSITION: PREP COOK

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Assist in the preparation of dishes by prepping ingredients to The Smith’s recipes specifications.

·       Prepare items by chopping vegetables, making salads, and putting together entrees

·       Store food in designated areas to prevent spoilage and make sure the food temperature is appropriate.

·       Cut and portion different types of food from the menu and follow the recipe carefully.

·       Make stock soups to be used during thecookingprocess.

·       Portion food and prepare dishes for plating.

·       Keep track of ingredients to ensure there is always enough for service.
