Prep Cook, Part-Time

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Prep Cook, Part-Time. This position offers approximately 29 hours per week. The schedule requires weekend availability and may also include some evening and holiday shifts. We are looking for a team player who is flexible and reliable, and in return, you’ll join a supportive team environment with opportunities to grow your skills and contribute to excellent customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare specific amount of food product according to the daily prep sheets
• Gather all necessary salad/sandwich ingredients and prepare them by washing, chopping, slicing, dicing and assembling them for customer purchase
• Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, and recipes
• Manage food inventory when necessary
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Encourage good customer relations through product promotion

Requirements:

• Culinary experience or education preferred
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and food presentations skills
• Customer service focused nature
