Stanford's Restaurant is looking for a motivated and talented Prep Cook to join our team in Seattle, WA. We're hiring for a full-time position.

Pay Rate:
$21 - $23 per hour based on experience plus a percentage of any service charges.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications.
Wash, peel, chop, slice, and dice fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients.
Measure and mix ingredients for sauces, marinades, and dressings.
Assist line cooks and chefs with daily food preparation and setup.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, storage, and coolers.
Properly label, date, and store all food items to ensure freshness and food safety.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including temperature checks and cross-contamination prevention.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or needs to kitchen management.
Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries.
Support the kitchen team with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
Basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Must be able to stand, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs for extended periods.
Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude a must.
Food Handler's Permit (or ability to obtain one before starting).
