Prep Cook

Come join us at St. Patrick's Residence!  A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1964.   We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. 

We are seeking to fill the position of Prep Cook Part-Time.

  • $18 to $21 per hour based on circumstances including skills, qualifications, degrees and certifications, prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
  • Flexible Schedule, must be able to work Weekends.

Prep Cook Qualifications:

  • Experience in a healthcare food service preferred.
  • Must be able to follow production sheets and standardized recipes.
  • Basic knowledge of therapeutic diets.
  • Must be able to work Every Other Weekend.

Prep Cook Job Summary:

  • Handle and prepare food in accordance with federal, state and local sanitary regulations.
  • Prepare food in accordance with standardized recipes and special diet orders.
  • Meet time schedules for serving of meals and snacks.
  • Ensure food items are prepared, cooled and stored in adherence to corporate, local, state and federal guidelines.
  • Supervise and set up steam table for Main Dining Room and trayline meal service to facilitate organized, speedy and sanitary delivery of meals.
  • Check outgoing food for proper amounts, types and quality of food.
  • Properly care for dietary equipment.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, Department of Public Health and Board of Health Standards.
