Position Summary:
We’re looking for a Prep Cook to support our kitchen team by preparing ingredients, following recipes, and keeping our back-of-house operations running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced kitchen and can work with consistency and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients according to recipes (chopping, slicing, portioning, mixing, etc.)
Assist with daily kitchen prep for lunch and dinner service
Maintain a clean, organized workstation
Follow food safety, sanitation, and labeling procedures
Assist cooks and chefs during busy hours
Properly store and rotate food (FIFO)
Communicate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Qualifications:
Prior kitchen or prep experience preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
Team player with a positive attitude
Pay & Benefits:
Starting Pay: $12.00 – $14.00 per hour (based on experience and performance)
