The Prep Cook & Utility Worker supports kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with dish washing. This role ensures the kitchen is ready for service and adheres to all sanitation and safety standards.
This is considered a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position. The minimum starting rate for the position is $17.45 per hour.
Core Responsibilities:
Wash, peel, chop, and prepare fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients for service.
Prepare simple menu items such as sandwiches, wraps, and salads.
Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all safety, sanitation, and compliance standards.
Load and unload dish machines, and properly store clean dishes, pots, and pans.
Stock supplies and ingredients for upcoming shifts.
Sweep, mop, and clean kitchen, dish room, walk‑ins, and waste areas.
Dispose of trash and recycling and rinse containers as needed.
Collaborate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff for smooth operations.
