Prep Cook Responsibilities:
- Handle, portion, prepare, and store ingredients efficiently to support the timely and smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Strictly follow health and safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices, to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment and prevent foodborne illnesses.
- Assist in monitoring ingredient levels and communicate with the management team to ensure adequate stock levels for daily food preparation.
- Work closely with the culinary team to coordinate food preparation tasks and maintain a well-organized prep area, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient production during peak hours.
- Complete tasks as assigned by the chefs.
Prep Cook Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred experience in a culinary setting
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 20 pounds.
- Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
- Manual dexterity
