Clean Eatz Orland Park is looking for a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Prep Cook / Café Line Cook to join our kitchen team.


This position offers a combination of preparing healthy meals for our weekly meal plans and cooking fresh, made-to-order food for our café customers.


We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a team environment, takes pride in food quality, and can balance efficiency with attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities


Meal Production & Preparation

• Prepare ingredients and cook proteins, vegetables, grains, and other menu items according to established recipes.
  
  
• Assist with weekly meal production, including portioning, assembling, packaging, and labeling meals.
  
  
• Follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines to maintain consistency.
  
  
• Help organize ingredients and prepare for upcoming production schedules.
  
  

Café Cooking

• Prepare and cook made-to-order café meals accurately and efficiently.
  
  
• Work the cooking line during café service.
  
  
• Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portion sizes.
  
  
• Manage multiple orders while maintaining speed and accuracy.
  
  
• Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning kitchen stations.
  
  

Kitchen Operations

• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures.
  
  
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked workstations.
  
  
• Assist with inventory rotation and receiving deliveries.
  
  
• Work cooperatively with team members to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant, line cooking, or food preparation experience preferred.
  
  
• Ability to follow recipes and standardized cooking procedures.
  
  
• Comfortable working in both meal production and made-to-order café service.
  
  
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  
  
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to teamwork.
  
  
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
  
  
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  
  
• Food Handler Certification preferred or willingness to obtain one.
