We are currently hiring a Prep Operator for a textile facility located in Pendleton, SC. In this role you will be responsible for preparing textile materials for the finishing process by operating and monitoring prep equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining efficient workflow. This role supports continuous production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while adhering to safety and quality standards.Responsibilities- Operate prep machinery used in textile finishing (e.g., washing, batching, chemical prep systems)
- Load, unload, and stage raw or processed materials for finishing operations
- Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Inspect fabric for defects and ensure proper preparation before finishing
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals
- Record production data, machine settings, and quality checks accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S principles
- Adhere to all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors across shift changes
Qualifications- Previous manufacturing or textile experience is a plus
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods (10-hour shifts)
- Lift, push, or pull materials up to 50 lbs
- Work in a production environment with noise, heat, humidity, and moving machinery
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced textile finishing facility
- Must be ok with exposure to industrial equipment and chemical processes (with proper training and PPE)
Pay: $16.43Schedule: 10-hour shifts; rotating weekly between 1st and 3rd shift- Flexibility to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed
