Prep Support Operator Rotating Shift

We are currently hiring an entry level Prep Support Operator for a textile facility located in Pendleton, SC.In this role you will assist in the early stages of textile production, helping prepare raw materials (like yarn or fibers) for processing. The role focuses on keeping machines supplied, maintaining workflow, and supporting primary machine operators.Responsibilities

• Load and stage raw materials (yarn, fiber, or fabric) for processing 
• Monitor prep equipment (warpers, winders, creels, etc.) for smooth operation 
• Replace empty packages, spools, or beams as needed 
• Assist operators in threading, setup, and changeovers 
• Inspect materials for defects or inconsistencies 
• Keep work areas clean and organized (often called “housekeeping”) 
• Follow production schedules and instructions from supervisors 
• Record basic production data or material usage 
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE 

Requirements

• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly 
• Comfortable working around machinery 
• Basic mechanical aptitude 
• Attention to detail and safety awareness 
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends 
• Previous manufacturing or textile experience 
• Familiarity with yarn handling or prep equipment 
• Teamwork and communication skills 
• Problem-solving when minor machine/material issues arise 
• Be able to stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift 
• Ok with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and fibers 

Pay: $15.98Schedule: 10-hour shifts; rotating weekly between 1st and 3rd shift

• Flexibility to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed 
• Ability to adapt to changing sleep schedules and maintain consistent attendance
