Prepress Operator

Summary

Join Millennium Print Group as a Prepress Operator!
We are seeking a senior-level Prepress Operator to support complex commercial printing operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for advanced prepress functions including variable data programming, scripting, trapping, imposition, proofing, and plating to ensure precise, high-quality print production.

Location: Raleigh, NC
Schedule: Onsite Shift

What You’ll Do

• Process complex print files using advanced prepress software and technology

• Perform variable data programming, scripting, and coding

• Pre-flight and troubleshoot supplied files for accuracy and compliance

• Utilize Kodak Prinergy workflow and imposition tools

• Output plates using platesetter systems

• Assemble and verify proofs prior to production release

• Ensure high-quality print output across multiple substrates

• Collaborate with Client Services and Production teams to implement changes

• Mentor junior prepress operators

What You’ll Bring

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 5+ years of commercial printing or prepress experience is preferred

• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

• Experience with Kodak Prinergy, Preps, or similar workflow systems preferred

• Knowledge of variable data printing (VDP), scripting, and coding

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced printing environment
