Summary



As the Presale team experiences a significant increase in inbound requests alongside evolving marketing initiatives, we are seeking Presale Content & Proposal Support individual to provide critical writing, editing, proposal coordination, and inbound support. This role will focus heavily on refreshing and reorganizing proposal content, RFP materials, and supporting documentation to align with Sparks’ updated value proposition and mission statement, while also assisting with inbound opportunity coordination and presale operations.


The ideal candidate is a strong writer and organized communicator who can translate complex information into clear, compelling messaging while supporting the administrative and coordination efforts required throughout the presale process. This individual will work closely with the Presale team, Content Coordinator, and leadership to ensure materials remain polished, accurate, and strategically aligned during this period of organizational transition and growth.


This position will support our Growth (Sales) team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be located in Philadelphia, PA.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities



Sales Enablement Support

● Assist with updating, rewriting, and reorganizing existing RFP and proposal content to align with new marketing messaging and brand positioning.

● Support the development of clear, compelling, and concise written materials for presale and marketing initiatives.

● Collaborate with the Content Coordinator and Presale team to maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and formatting across all materials.

● Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, brand alignment, and overall quality.

● Translate complex or technical information into accessible and engaging client-facing language.

● Help organize and maintain proposal content libraries and presale documentation systems.


Inbound & RFP Support

● Provide support for inbound opportunity coordination and RFP-related tasks as needed during periods of increased team workload or resource constraints.

● Assist with the coordination and management of inbound opportunities and presale requests when additional team support is required.

● Review incoming project submissions and support the collection and organization of necessary project information.

● Coordinate with internal teams to confirm resource availability and gather information required for opportunity evaluation.

● Conduct background research on prospective and current clients to support informed decision-making.

● Support the completion and organization of scorecards, tracking documentation, and internal reporting processes.

● Help maintain and communicate opportunity statuses throughout the Go/No Go and proposal development process.

● Facilitate administrative and coordination tasks related to lead conversion and project setup.

● Schedule kick-off meetings, executive reviews, rehearsals, and other presale-related meetings as needed.

● Ensure all necessary documentation, timelines, and departmental resources are effectively communicated and organized throughout the RFP lifecycle.


Education & Experience



● Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

● Background in journalism, communications, marketing, English, business, or a related field preferred.

● Ability to synthesize complex information into clear and compelling content.

● Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

● Experience with coordination, scheduling, or administrative support in fast-paced environments is a plus.

● Familiarity with proposal development, RFP processes, Salesforce, or marketing content creation preferred.

● Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
