RESPONSIBILITIES
Reading and understanding RFP and tender documents
Reading and understanding customer requirements provided by Solution Architects and Sales team
Concept design of electrical system architecture and equipment
Understanding of relevant codes and standards for electrical power equipment and installations
CAD Modeling
Coordination with other technical disciplines (architectural, structural, HVAC, controls, fire protection)
Technical project coordination with customers and suppliers
Communication with customers in order to propose the best solution
Making technical proposals for Vertiv modular/hybrid solutions data centers
Providing electrical design documents
Problem solving and interpretation of customer requirements in proposed solutions
Support SA and sales team
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering
Proficient in Electrical power system design
3+ years of experience
Good CAD capabilities including the ability to represent layouts and electrical schematic diagrams, as well as specifics of custom electrical sub-systems associated with Uninterruptable Power Supplies, DC systems, LV and MV power distribution systems, diesel gensets
Dimensioning and specification of electrical equipment and installations
Knowledge of short circuit and protection coordination study calculations and modeling tools
Solution-based thinking that will incorporate a multitude of Mechanical and Electrical components in end-customer deployment
Solid communication skills, both written and oral, to work across multiple Engineering and Manufacturing teams to bring architecture and concepts to deployment
PC skills: active user of Windows, MS Office incl. Excel (A), Word (A), AutoCAD
