This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm. The starting pay rate is $14.75-15.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. This position is located onsite at our center: 398 Douglas Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714. 

Our Preschool 3-Year-Old Teacher creates a positive and safe learning environment for children, fostering activities that enhance education and childcare quality while supporting the development and implementation of curriculum. The 3-Year-Old Teacher builds a cohesive teaching team and oversees the daily operational activities of the classroom. This role requires a high-energy individual who works well with staff, students, and parents. As a 3-Year-Old Teacher, you will lead the classroom, promote teamwork, provide engaging learning experiences, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of 3-year-old students.

What You’ll Do: 

• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
  
• Lead by example and encourage success through modeling and coaching
  
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
  
• Follow all facility policies and state regulations
  
• Maintain a personal and professional development plan to ensure continuous quality 

What We Need from You: 

• High school diploma / GED, or degree in related field of study required
• FL 45 DCF hours required

• Minimum of 1 year of professional early childhood education or experience
• Must clear a full background check
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills
• Strong understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students are engaged and encouraged to succeed
• Effective in communicating with both students and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns
• Must be able to lift, push or carry up to 40-50lbs
•  Able to stand for more than 2 or 3 hours
