Preschool Camp Manager/Teacher

Wage: $18.53-$21.32 an hour, $25.00 certified teacher in Early Childhood Education.

Seasonal Summer Only (June 22nd -July 31) Monday-Friday. Hours approximately 9:15 am-11:45 am, some setup time before the first day may be expected.

Job Summary: Supervision of assigned children, volunteers, and implementation of educational or recreational activities for preschool-aged children.

Qualifications: Experience with Preschool-Aged children; skills in organization, development, and implementing activities within large and small groups; Training and/or skills in areas of recreation, and/or Early Education.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide oversight of children at all times and ensure camper safety.
• Plan, facilitate, and supervise campers in their daily activities.
• Encourage and promote participation of the early childhood campers.
• Use appropriate behavior management strategies with campers to ensure safety and order at camp.
• Direct any problems with equipment, grounds, or dangerous situations to the Recreation Director.
• Report discipline problems, accidents, or injuries to the Recreation Director.
• Attend all required staff meetings and trainings.
• Secure building, games, and supplies at the end of the camp day.

Evaluation: A performance evaluation will be conducted by the Recreation Director at the end of summer camp.
