Center Director (Early Childhood Education)
Location: The Learning Experience – East Brunswick, NJ
Pay: $58,000 per year
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

 
The Learning Experience – East Brunswick is seeking an experienced Center Director to lead daily operations of our early childhood education center. This role is ideal for a motivated leader who is passionate about high-quality childcare, team development, and creating a positive learning environment for children and families.

Our center serves infants through preschool-aged children in a structured, play-based learning environment focused on academic readiness and social-emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the childcare center

  • Lead, coach, and develop teaching staff to maintain high program quality

  • Ensure full compliance with New Jersey childcare licensing and safety regulations

  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and overall center operations

  • Support enrollment growth through tours and family engagement

  • Maintain strong relationships with families, staff, and the local community

  • Monitor center performance and support financial and operational goals

  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and organized school environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Previous leadership experience in a childcare, daycare, or preschool setting preferred

  • Strong knowledge of childcare licensing regulations

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage staff and maintain a positive center culture
