We are seeking a passionate and dedicated preschool closer to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and engaging transition at the end of each school day, fostering a nurturing environment that supports children's development and well-being. Your enthusiasm, organizational skills, and commitment to child welfare will help create a positive experience for children, parents, and staff alike. Duties
Facilitate a warm and welcoming environment during the afternoon transition, ensuring children feel secure and engaged as they prepare to leave for the day
Communicate effectively with teachers and parents regarding their child's daily experiences, progress, and any concerns that arise during the closing period
Implement classroom management strategies to maintain order and safety while encouraging positive behavior and cooperation among children
Support classroom routines such as snack time, cleanup, and rest periods while adhering to health and safety protocols including first aid and CPR procedures
Document daily activities, child progress, and incident reports accurately to ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and childcare regulations
Requirements
Requirements
Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom experience with toddlers and preschoolers
Knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
Certification in first aid and CPR is required; as well as 16 hour Health and Safety Course.
Mandated Reporter Certificate and Healthy Schools Act Certificate
