Full Job Description

At My Kids Childcare, we are seeking a strong, engaging, and dependable Preschool Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with preschool-aged children, understands child development, and values being part of a supportive, professional school environment.

This is not a babysitting position. You will not be left to figure things out on your own. We are looking for a dedicated educator who wants to create meaningful classroom experiences, build strong relationships with families, and contribute to a collaborative team that takes pride in early childhood education.

What You'll Do

• Create a safe, nurturing, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences
• Support children's academic, social, and emotional growth
• Encourage curiosity, independence, creativity, and confidence
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Communicate regularly with families about daily activities and student progress
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-managed classroom

• Experience working in a preschool or early childhood setting
• A genuine passion for teaching and connecting with young children
• Dependability, professionalism, and strong communication skills
• A team player who contributes positively to the workplace
• The ability to balance energy with patience in the classroom
• An understanding of the importance of early childhood development

• Early childhood education experience strongly preferred
• CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred
• Must meet Ohio licensing requirements for childcare staff
